whats in a sinner's Heaven

Updated on April 27, 2011

View from Heaven

The view from inside my Hell is Heaven.

The window burns from within and dissipates into a cool sweet dew on the outside.

I see the colors of the Gods: gold, silver, green and all the colors that drive mortals to the gallows

The envy grows in my eyes and slithers like a snake into my heart

People with their chariots in front of their castles kiss each other while thinking of a life better made by lust and greed

I see the streets of gold start to tarnish from the feet of sinners who love the feel of the world beneath their toes

The tree's limbs twitch as their roots struggle to find nourishment in the blood drenched soil

Children wait eagerly to grow old while their elders search for the fountain of youth

The souls of the self righteous hippocrates

And yet... My Hell is guarded by little children with eyes of blinded white, exhausted faith, hands of rust and all the souls of the children yet to be.

Wow, quite profound! This makes me want to write more.

Another great one, my friend. My favorite line:

"Children wait eagerly to grow old while their elders search for the fountain of youth"
