Writing Quotes About, For and By Writers

Updated on October 20, 2013

A Collection Of My Favorite Writing Quotes

Are you one of those people that have a selection of writing quotes stuck up on your wall. If you like to write in the least little bit, then I'm betting the answer is yes. It's an interesting phenomenon that doesn't require you to be a well-known author and maybe that's how it should be. When one chooses to write on a regular or semi-regular basis every quote that you'll find below seems to apply in some way or another. Knowing that they exist reassures us that we are not alone; there are others out there typing away, pouring their thoughts out onto whatever medium... for the world to see. It's a nice feeling, and that's why you'll often find these sayings, at the very least, stuck up on walls while some may be framed and hung upon a wall. My favorite quote hangs on my wall proudly, and is on this list. With any luck, maybe you can find a few to stick on your wall from the selection below. Enjoy.

This is not so much a writing quote but you can certainly massage it into one. "I used to say, I sure hope things will change. Then I learned that the only way things are going to change for me is when I change." Jim Rohn

So much to learn from this wonderful man. And wish I had said many of those quotes. Writing at night when there are no intrusions is perfect!
