Who is the Most powerful Superhero?

Updated on May 17, 2010

Hulk, Thor or Superman? Nah..

Rogue – The Male Super Hero beater

Who is the strongest of All? Hulk or Thor? Wrong answer! Its Rogue.

Is one most powerful female reluctant Heroin in the Marvel Universe. In this hub, we will recollect back Rogue first appearance in Avengers Annual 10 (August 1981). She was created by author Chris Claremont and artist Michael Golden.

She is mutants who have the ability to absorb the memories, abilities, personality and outward physical characteristics of other beings through skin contact. Her touch steals memories as well as powers that may render the victim unconscious. Extended time may result in the risk that the transfers become permanent.

Many people did not know this but Rogue has actually defeated Many Powerful Superheroes. She did Fight the powerful Avengers and manage to defeat most of them. In the contest of Champion she defeated all the Powerful Heroes and the won the tournament. However she was under the will of the Brood Queen that time.

When it comes to power, it seems Rogue is severely underestimated. Even by the Marvel Super Villains themselves. The boasting God of War Ares was defeated in seconds.

However Rogue seems easily distracted. She is more interested in the guys rather than picking up a fight with them.

This is one girl that managed to defeat the likes of sabretooth with just one throw or the powerful Thor with simply a kiss. Rampaging Hulk is no problem either.

Other than absorbing abilities, personalities, outward physical characteristic of other beings, she may absorb another's memories, However powerful psyches may be able to overwhelm her. She may absorb an undetermined number of characteristic. Once she actually absorbs all X-men powers in order to defeat a powerful enemy.

Rogue permanently absorbed the powers of Carol Danver aka Ms marvel, Rogue possessed a combined mutant human/alien physiology that granted her a degree of immunity to poisons as well an invicible body. Rogue have Ms. Marvel's above normal reflexes and psychic Super senses enabled her to subconsciously anticipate anymoves made by opponensts.

She is resistant to telepathic probes from even the most powerful telepaths. She have acquired incredible strength, and supersonic flight. Just imagine if rogue pulled off her gloves, if her blows don’t renders someone unconscious, her touch will.

Nobody can do this to Thor!

Rogue Combat Victory

Rogue is a fighter who defeats her enemy in style. Male Combatant has always been easily defeated by rogue simply by kissing her enemy to unconsciousness. As for female combatant, rogues seem to prefer to knock them out with her fist.

Or how about The Sentry? He's already proved he'd overload a veteran syphoning character like the Absorbing Man. The man has the energy of a million exploding suns. I'm pretty sure it would overpower her mutant gene.

And even if it didn't, she'd have no way to control The Void.

The theory of Rogue being the most powerful superhero is deceptive.

Yes, okay, she can take the powers of multiple and more powerful beings, but there is a cost to her doing that. She loses a bit of her personality when she takes each of those powers. So, yes, she'll be really, really powerful - but she'll be a schizophrenic mess.

Would she even be Rogue anymore? Would she even be a hero anymore?

Once that kind of amalgamation gets ambiguous, wouldn't she be in the realm of other ethereal beings like Odin, Galactus, the Stranger, and Kosmos (the evolving cosmic cube?). She'd never be in the class of the Living Tribunal.

I also agree with many of the statements that were made before. Should she even encounter an opponent like Batman - who is prepared for her - she'd lose. Not on power, but on intelligence and strategy alone.

well with Sixth sense, superhuman agility and Superhuman Speed, rogue could easily evade ranged attack and with if rogue gets near ww, all it takes is one touch to knock out sipers and ww. nuff said.

Actually, no. Any character with superspeed, superstrength, or ranged attacks could beat her. Heck, even some without can.

Wonder Woman- Forget Death Battle, that was BS. Wonder Woman can fly at speeds faster than light and has strength on par with Superman. She could've splattered Rogue's head before Rogue could think.

      Thor- Lightning. Rogue dies.

Superman- There are so many ways he could defeat her. Fly at lightspeed and kill her, lobotomize her with heat vision, freeze her, etc.

And those are only a few examples.

Well i doubt bullet would have any impact on rogue ..

she have also superhuman strength, stamina, durability, reflexes, and speed. She was able to repel bullets and fly at sub-sonic speeds, much like Ms. Marvel could. In addition, she possessed an amalgamated mutant human/Kree physiology that rendered her resistant to most toxins and poisons, with the added effect of making her virtually invulnerable.

Rogue also gained a precognitive "seventh sense"and she is also highly resistant to telepathic probes,

Well i find this in youtube..

      wonderwoman vs Rogue..

Maybe I didn't read deeply enough into others points but this is based solely on her attacks. What protection does she have naturally? A bullet in the head/heart seems like that would be all that's necessary...

Lockstin 6 years ago Rouge gets others powers by touching them....well how about if the person she touches has no super powers? its just some fancy equipment? like Iron Man, or the Green Lantern, Batman, or heck, Thanos. and what if say, she got into a fight with Living Tribunal? I'm pretty sure she would lose in an instant.

Rogue is not as powerful, sorry, Storm is more powerful than Rogue, if she'd use her powers in full force, and then there's the Phoenix, Rogue's touch can't affect the Phoenix remember? But don't get me wrong, I've nothing against Rogue, she just isn't that powerful really, her strength and flying abilities ain't even her, it's from Ms. Marvel.

Rogue is by far the most powerful superhero out there. Well, either Rogue or Black Alice.

As for sentry most of his powers and their limits are still unknown, examples he has demonstrated so far are super-strength, super-speed, invulnerability, and flight. His power seems limitless. According to Marvel, Sentry's powers are limitless, and may even rival those of the Silver Surfer's and Phoenix's. In effect, the Sentry's powers are seemingly limitless.

Nevetheless the big question is that what would happen if Rogue touch sentry? if he is immune to Rogue touch then a battle would actually begin.

Rogue would then try to posseses several superheroes powers. In most cases, heroes would not realised Rogue increasing powers until it was too late. The battle outcome would determine on whose powers did Rogue absorb?

As for silver surfur, this valiant hero would have the same proudness and chivalry as that of Thor. One touch and silver surfur powers belongs to rogue. I can’t see the surfur faring better than Thor. Thor also got a better win record against the silver surfur.

As for molecule man eventhough his powers are limitless, this guy is actually a dork. All Rogue needs to do is touch him and use the power against him, if he survived the touch. This guy may be very powerful but he is no hero.

In Siege Fallen Sun, Rouge attended Sentry's funeral because he was the only person that could touch her. Apparently, they were intament with eachother. So, Sentry is stronger. Also, I think Silver Surfer or Molecule Man Could deal with her.

I supposed the writers actually balance off her powers by making her emotionally vulnearable.

She actually did beat Phoenix in her Energy manisfestation in the Contest of Champion while under the influence of the Brood Queen.

      Check out Wonderman Statement..quite funny..

Rogue is indeed a powerful heroine. If one can count Phoenix and the abilities she keps as Dark Phoenix, she would be in the conversation, also. If it always looks like her abilities are underutilized, it probably a matter of the writer not knowing how to challenge a character that is virtually unstoppable. Nice hub, rated up and "awesome."
