Your Own Choices: A Poem
In life you have a lot of choices to make. Some of them are more difficult to make. Others are quite simple. The Bible says in John 13:34, in we are to choose to love another, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another." In 1 Corinthians 10:31 that may choose, what we, "eat or drink, or whatever you do" as long we, "do all to the glory of God."
However the biggest choice the Bible says we need to make according to John 3:16 is whether to "believes in him (Jesus) should not perish but have eternal life." This poem is about the choice to follow Jesus.
You love to make
Your own choices
You choose
Where you want to go
You choose
What you want to know
You choose
What you want to do
You choose
With who
You choose
What you want to be
You choose
To see
But in the end
There's only one choice
That matters
Where you will spend eternity
Choose Heaven
Choose Hell
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
— John 3:16Don't contemplate
By then it may
Be to late
Choose Heaven
Choose Hell
You choose
The Clothes you wear
You choose
Who does your hair
You choose
The shoes on your feet
You choose
The people you want to meet
But in the end
There's only one choice
That matters
Where you will spend eternity
Choose Heaven
Choose Hell
In the only it is the
Only choice that matters
