Bagless Vacuum Cleaner Reviews 2016

Updated on December 6, 2015

A bagless vacuum cleaner can offer powerful suction, has no messy bags to clean, and many come with attachments for cleaning drapes, furniture and stairs. I would suggest looking for a vacuum cleaner with high amps, a long cord, good filtration and wall-edging ability.

A Bagless vacuum cleaner requires all of the same maintenance as a bagged vacuum cleaner, with the exception of changing the dust collection bag. Instead you will inneed to empty the dirt container, when it reaches the full line. Bagless vacuums do have filters that must either be replaced or cleaned depending on the model.

I have selected 5 of the most popular bagless vacuums and shortly reviewed them in bagless vacuum cleaner reviews 2016.

Hoover WindTunnel Self-Propelled Upright Vacuum

The Hoover UH60010 is my pick as best premium bagless vacuum cleaner of 2016.

Hoover has used their experience to come up with a cleaner for those of us who need more power to clean up difficult messes, like pet hair.

The Hoover UH60010 has a receptacle that collects the dirt, which you just empty into the rubbish. The wind tunnel feature sucks dirt from all around and it has a light to help you clean dimly lit areas.

The motorized brush allows you to reach into the deepest pile to collect the dirt and fur. The Hoover comes with a pet hair attachment for cleaning pet hair and other dirt out of upholstery.

The fact that the Hoover is light-weight makes using easier. The HEPA filter traps ’99.97%’ of unwanted particles. This is a relatively high compared with others in this price range. They used a lot of plastic in the construction to make it lighter. This however makes it "feel" a little cheap. It is however a durable product.

Shark Navigator Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner

NV22L has patented ‘dirt separation system’ which cleans all surfaces without fluctuations in power.
Its lightweight structure (15lbs) with rubber wheels gives it top class movement around those tricky bits of furniture.

Constant suction assures top cleaning from start to finish and the 30’ power cord lets you stay on the job, throughout the house. The power nozzle makes easy work of pet hair on carpets whilst the pet hair brush gets the hairs off tricky corners and stairs. A 2’ crevice tools addresses those tight spaces that collects hair.

Tiled and bare floors are catered for with an electronic brush for cleaning and buffing. The stretch hose provides a 12’ reach for flexible unrestrained movement while cleaning. No dirty bag mess and annoyance as the NV22L comes with a bagless dust collector.

Dirt Devil 082700 Vision Turbo Canister Vacuum

This product offers an option for people who prefer the canister design.
It is reasonably priced with a useful set of features and accessories.

Equipped with a 12 AMP motor it will ensure dirt and debris pass through its HEPA filter. The filter ‘is designed’ to eradicate ‘99.9%’ of dust, allergens and dander. This is a high filtering percentage and higher than many of the Dirt Devil's competitors.

The unit is bagless and may be used on carpeting, smooth and other services, as well as for pet hair. Being bagless the cost of bag replacement is saved. The 20 inch cable is not as long as some. The accessory range is reasonable with tools for crevices, upholstery, dusting, power hand brush, a carpet nozzle and floor nozzle.

The power cut off manages the Dirt Devil's overheating, but it is more prone to overheating than the other vacuums here.

After taking the Vision Turbo home, consumers reported that it was quick and easy to assemble and get going. A HEPA filter is included, but this needs changing quite often, increasing the running costs, whilst the initial outlay compares quite favourably with similar units.

Dirt Devil UD40285 Featherlite Bagless

Selling points on this unit include: convenience, power, and less weight in a compact vacuum cleaner

Strong suction is provided by a 12 AMP motor enabling easy and effective cleaning.

It's weight allows easier pushing and carrying. HEPA filter is standard and the dirt holder empties easily from the bottom. An elbow handle allows storage in smaller spots, than usual for Vacuums.

A 25’ power cord gives distance plus a large brush head allows a 13’’ cleaning path.

Multiple tools permit easier cleaning and reach. Pet hair is handled by a power hand tool which is good on carpet and upholstery too.

Filters are washable so low cost (‘last a life time’). The specification of the HEPA claims 99.9% capture of allergens (high on scale), improving your air quality.

Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Rewind Upright Vacuum

The T-Series is adjustable to change from high to low carpet.  The drawbacks are it's weight and the erratic performance of the handheld power brush. It needs to be handled with care as it can break if you use it incorrectly.

I hope you found the right vacuum for your needs in bagless vacuum cleaner reviews 2016. If you want to read more of my articles check out kitchen scale reviews and best blender 2016.
