Kitchen Sets For Kids

Updated on February 7, 2013

Kids can be very picky when it comes to their food, so buying kitchen sets for kids can be tricky. Sometime, they would rather pick up some awful thing on the ground and eat it than your healthy cooking. They would choose to eat junk food over your nutritious cooking, if given the chance. And it seems to be more about the fun factor than the actual food.

One way of persuading your kids to eat healthy is to provide them with fun and entertaining utensils. Persuade them away from junk food with some of these fun kid's utensils. It will take them years to work out they could take them to the junk food restaurant, by which time they will be hooked on healthy home cooking. Just kidding - this is a selection of utensils to help your child learn how to eat using "grown up," utensils. From spoons for toddlers to transitioning to a knife and fork.

Here is a very good-looking set of utensils that your boys (and even girls) will love. It has a truck design and would be very much appealing to them. Kids love dramatization, so you can play with these as if you are on construction work.

And they will surely be looking forward to the next meal when it is this much fun. These are very much kid-friendly as well as Mom-friendly. You can throw them in the dishwasher, or th microwave with no ill effects.

These are incredibly easy to use and to hold due to the great design of the handle. It even has a "pusher," which is very useful for kids who just started using a fork and spoon.

Perfect for the on-the-go parents and their babies, this is just the right one for you. Is it a spoon - or is it a bottle? Its a spoon - but this is no ordinary spoon. This holds up to 3 ounces of food inside the large handle so you can feed baby without going back to the bowl for more.

You can feed your baby anywhere he or she wants, and teh next portion convenientlyu drops down to teh Spoon" part of the device as needed. You just squeeze the handle when you want more. making one handed feeding a snap.

You can clean it in a dishwasher, and the spoon has a safety cover to keep it clean between feedings.

Good for training toddlers just about to graduate to "real," utensils, these come on a variety of different colors to suit the pickiest child. These are safe and Bisphenol A (BPA) free. They might be made out of plastic but they take a toddler being because the tips are made of stainless steel.

Sharp enough to pierce food but not too sharp to hurt those little mouths. The handles are toddler sized, but offer excellent grip. Far better quality than the usual plastic utensil kits and incredibly cheap at $4 per three forks. Great buy.

Like the fork these also have long handles for a good grip. This is certainly the right way to train your child in terms of his or her transition from being spoon fed to using their own utensils.

These are easy to use and easy to clean. Once again - plastic handles with stainless steel tips that will not hurt your toddler's mouth. Used in combination with the forks - excellent transitional utensils. Once again - BPA free and I have never heard a word against these.

These are easy to use and i fit a baby’s mouth perfectly. The vibrant colors offer visual stimulation at a key time in a baby's development. The range of different colors mean different stimulations with every feeding. They are soft silicone tipped, so no harm can come to yoru child - and they may even enjoy chewing them during teething.

Perfect for when the baby is starting to move to solid at first. As always - BPA free and dishwasher safe make these a good choice. Gerber have a well deserved reputation for making baby and toddler products - and these are as well thought out as everything else in their range of products.
