Black and Decker D2030 Auto-Off Digital Advantage Iron

Updated on January 11, 2012

The other day I was doing some laundry and as usual was taking out my clothes to have them pressed. Well, at the same time I’m getting ready to start ironing the iron quits on me. Just my luck on a Monday, I guess, little did I know that luck was about to change.

I headed over to the computer, started researching irons. I wanted just a basic iron and did not need to have all the bells and whistles, but ironed clothes. I ran across the Black & Decker D2030 Auto-Off Digital Advantage Iron, and was tremendously impressed with the reviews I was reading so decided to give it a try.

The iron seemed like it would do the job nicely, and since it was the heating element inside the last iron that quit on me, I ordered it. I liked the feature on the iron of having an auto off option on it. Not, only does this save the iron from being hot all the time and a possible accident it also saves the heating element inside

When I received the iron, I was thoroughly impressed with it. The Black & Decker D2030 Auto-Off Digital Advantage Iron has a variety of neat features that I am able to control at a finger tip. Not like my old iron, where it just had temperature settings of low or high. This one has temperature settings for just about every type of fabric that I might need to iron. So, for example, when doing cotton to prevent the iron from getting to hot I just put it on cotton, and it heats to the optimal temperature automatically. I do not have to worry about guessing or burning my clothes anymore.

1. Has a 1500 watt heating source

2. Displays temperature settings

3. Actual temperature of iron

4. Fabric settings

5. Alarm to notify when heated

6. Stainless steel plate.

7. 3 year warranty – but we all know the B&D makes unbeatable quality products

8. Steam surge

I am confident that you will have many years of service from the Black & Decker D2030 Auto-Off Digital Advantage Iron. Even, at such an economical price, it has a lot of features I never expected, but it is working well. So, if you need a reliable and decent iron come and check out the Black & Decker D2030 Auto-Off Digital Advantage Iron.
