Buy Vegetable, Flower and Fruit Seeds For Your Garden

Updated on April 12, 2015

Procrastination Is My Garden

Procrastination - is a type of avoidance behavior which is characterized by deferment of actions or tasks to a later time. For the person procrastinating this may result in stress, a sense of guilt, the loss of personal productivity.

Meet Queen Procrastinator; me. Every year I create a to do list, in my head, and every year none of tasks are done. I hope writing this hub will help me in ridding myself of this horrid condition. I have work that needs to be done in my front yard. I've planned my landscaping and purchased the seeds for planting flowers in front of the house. I have seeds (purchased last year) to start a small vegetable garden in my backyard. A year later the packets of seeds still sit by the patio door waiting, with bated breath for planting so they can bloom.

Amazon and Ebay Have Some Great Deals On Tomato Planters

Topsy Turvy Upside Down Tomato Planter

If you hadn't guessed by now, my mind is usually all over the place and I'm a bit unconventional and quirky. I like to mix things up in my life so I can give myself a reason of why I'm terminally confused. The Topsy Turvy Upside Down Tomato Planter is intriguing to me. One thing I'm positive of .. I want to eat healthier, and would love to watch my own food grow giving me comfort in what goes into my body. I think The Topsy Turvy Upside Down Tomato Planter will not only be decorative, but basically a work free addition to my garden.

The Topsy Turvy Upside Down Tomato Planter has had mixed reviews, most are positive. This planter can be used in growing vegetables, herbs and fruits. Plus non back braking work in weeding chores, and I won't have to worry about planting trees whose roots may undermine my plumbing, fence (that I'm still paying for) or concrete work. In addition fruit trees will produce more fruit than my husband and I will ingest, and with my constant dieting I no longer consume jellies or preserves.

Spring Time Means Blooming Flowers

Spring brings to mind the birth of all things new. You prepare your soil after the final frost and get it ready for the young seedlings, with mulch and fertilizers. Trees a budding, the winter dead grass is tinted with just a hint of green, giving you the sign that winter is over for now.

Danish Flag Afgan Poppy

Species is the same poppy that is grown in Afghanistan and elsewhere. Called the Danish Flag because of its color and appearance of a cross. The seeds are hearty and frost resistant, they thrive in snow and cool conditions. Plant in early spring, full sun, decent soil and space.

Wild Flowers, Butterfly and Premium Mix

Wild Flowers are a personal favorite of mine, I think because it symbolizes my scatterbrained attitude about life. I'm planting these beauties in my front yard for the first time, and they reflect how I feel about life . . bursting out like fireworks. Flowers grow 3 to 4 feet in height, plant right after danger of frost has past. I still have about a month its snowing again today, but lightly.

Black Sea Man Tomato and Hokkaido Black Watermelon

In researching for this article I came across some strange fruit, that I'm also going plant as an experiment to add some spice and fun to my veggie garden.

The Black Sea Man Russian Heirloom Tomato

One plant yields 12 - 16 ounce tomato, mahogany with olive green, deep rich red inside. Full bodied flavor with intense creamy tomato flavor, excellent in salads and sandwiches.

Hokkaido Black Watermelon

These seeds are a bit pricey, but not as pricey as a jumbo black melon that sold in Japan for $6,100.00. In a country where melons are rare this is not surprising, most sell in the retail market anywhere from $188.00 - $280.00.  In the world of melons the taste of this one is said to be unparalleled.

Variety of Peppers on Sale

My husband and I love experimenting with spices and peppers are our favorite.  We have a recipe for a mean hot chili.  Peppers are also helpful when dieting, after consumption in a breakfast meal they have a tendency to slow hunger pangs during the day.  I've tried this and it seems to work.  Nothing better than salsa and eggs, my husband makes a salsa that's smokin'.

RevLady and Sage Williams: thank your for stopping by for a read and leaving a comment. Sage Williams; you've cemented my decision, I am going to purchase the hanging bag plants. I totally agree with you it also seems as we age there is just not enough time to get things done, hence the procrastination. I wish you both a marvelous day and many blessings.

I think we all can procrastinate at times and the older I get the more obvious it becomes. I can vouch for the hanging bag plants, they work great. I enjoyed your hub.
