Countertop Oven Recipes

There are many more sources of countertop convection oven recipes these days, here is a list and links to some of the best ones, including Convection Oven Recipe Books from manufacturers, as well as websites that can provide you with more recipes than you could ever get round to cooking!

Cooking with a Convection Oven isn't a lot different to cooking in a regular oven. The main diffrences are that the space is smaller, so it heats up quicker (and is therefore cheaper to run) and there is a direct (halogen) element for browning. Cooking will therefore be quicker, cheaper and produce better results as the flavour's locked into a smaller space.

Below you'll discover where to get your hands on some tabletop convection oven recipes.

When cooking with a convection oven, you can cook anything and everything you can cook in a normal conventional oven - you can bake, roast, air fry, grill, etc.

Quiche recipes for a halogen oven work really well too - they come out really moist and yummy!

Any type of bakeware you can put in a conventional oven will be safe in a convection oven as well - if a dish is safe to use in a regular oven, it is safe to use in a convection oven, although as these ovens are round it makes sense to try to use round dishes for even cooking. You can also use silicone bakeware in convection ovens.

Convection ovens are also sometimes called Halogen Ovens - they are the same thing.

Ovens come in a variety of sizes, so cooking times will depend on the size of your convection oven and the temperature you use to cook.

With a smaller cooking area than a conventional oven, results are more predictable and easy to achieve because of the control this type of ofen gives you.

Holiday, Vacation and Backup Cooking

While many people use their convection oven every day, others use it for special holiday meals, when their usual oven is being over-worked. Others have a convection oven in their RV or motorhome as it's very space saving. They are ideal too for students and people with very small kitchens.

If you're single, then a convection oven is perfect as it's large enough to make a full roast dinner, but perfect for making small meals for one serving, or even just cheese on toast.

It can dispense with quite a lot of worktop clutter too!

Thank you for that PDF file, my Aunt gave me hers since she found a Nuwave online for sale. The one she gave me didn't have the instruction manuel so this will help me out. I would like to do a steak dinner with fresh green beans one night, not sure how to run the temps though with a meat and veggie but I'm sure I'll learn.
