A lot of people don't pay much attention to their bathroom when it comes to decoration. Bathrooms seem to have a stinky reputation. It's smelly and dirty. It's just not a pleasant place to be in. But does it have to be like that?

Of course it doesn't. It's up to us, owner of the bathroom, to help change its boring appearance by adding a picture, for example.

Add some flowers to beautify it. Just like you would dress up for a date.

You don't have to spray a whole bottle of perfume to cover up that bathroom signature smell. A scented candle will work as long as you clean your toilet often. It doesn't cost much, but adds a sense of romance as well.

Isn't it nice that just a few simple steps help you get rid of an unpleasant sign in your home?

Home decoration doesn't have to cost you a fortune. This picture, for example, is just a collage of some of the pictures from my old calender. It didn't cost me a penny. I did spend about $20 for the frame though.

I spent abut $15 for the flower. Well it didn't come like this. I bought two different bundles of dry grass/wood flower and arranged them in the way I preferred. I always focus on the colors and shapes to match the other items in the same area.

With the overall cost at about $50 (The vase cost me $15.), okay, add another $10 for the gasoline and the candle, I have a pleasant place to go about my business. ;-)

I didn't get yours either, donnaisabella. I think something is wrong with that feature.

I always wonder why people spend time to decorate their bathrooms. My bathroom is so plain because, as you said "it is considered to be a stinky place." I spend enough time "just to do my business" and get out. Thanks to you and your creativity, I am going to spend some time decorating my bathroom, maybe that will make me spend some time there. Wonderful hub, your pictures speak a million words! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Robie. Did you noticed the mistake I made? "You don't have to spay a whole bottle of perfume..." I typed "spay" instead of "spray". It would definitely scare people away when you have to "spay a bottle of perfume..." in order to decorate a bathroom. Hopefully I didn't scare you. :)
