It's the little things in life.

When you walk into your bedroom, you want to get a sense of peace and tranquility. After all, this is your space to relax and rest! But you also don't want to be bored--your bedroom should be as interesting as you are. In order to create that impression of tranquility AND maintain a richly interesting decor, focus on subtle details that charm without distracting.

The examples in this post employ a very feminine aesthetic. Feel free to adjust the suggestions according to your own taste. After all, you are the expert when it comes to what you like!

Read on for five tips on detail decorating.
