I am a nature and animal lover. I am also very health conscious and love writing about them. Health and happiness is what I strive for all.

Right fengshui colours in the bedroom can enhance your health, wealth and happiness

Where you stay and your surroundings impact your relationships, career, wealth and health. Aligning your space and correcting it to ensure occupants aren't affected by imbalances caused by these elements is the key to good fengshui of your living spaces. Good health is dependent on good food, healthy surroundings and good rest. So, the bedroom and the position of the beds have a vital role in enhancing your health and luck.

Wood is best

The bedroom has to be kept well-balanced so that good energy is generated there. The decor and material of the bed, and furnishings influence your wellness. In the science of fengshui, metal beds are not considered appropriate as the metal energy of the beds can influence your sleeping pattern. Wooden beds are the best choice. Beds should have headboards as these insulate you from the adjoining wall.

The bed should not be reflected in a mirror. The energy of the person on the bed is disturbed by the reflective surface of the mirror and the person could suffer from lack of proper sleep, nightmares and hallucinations.

The wall decor in the bedroom should depict pleasant scenes but not fierce animals, war, or even waterfalls as they have a strong impact on the minds of people and could disturb the sleep process.

Colour Therapy:

Using fengshui colours are a sure way of creating good energy and serenity. Colour therapy was used by ancient Egyptians and by Greeks who assigned specific colours to specific illnesses.

In fengshui, colours are very important as they determine the overall ambience of your home influencing energy patterns which affect your own energy and experiences.

Fenhshui studies show that you must use pastel, soothing shades, and comfortable bedsheets, pillows and mattresses in the bedroom. Ensure you do not have too many electrical gadgets or cables running around and under the bed as they generate electromagnetic fields which may prove harmful over time.

Avoid television in the bedroom as it generates electromagnetic fields and creates "yang" energy which makes the bedroom overactive whereas it should be calm, serene and relaxing.

These simple fengshui remedies will relax your mind and body, relieve stress and restore your natural sleeping process.
