I finally found a greenhouse to start out with - but I still like a couple of the ones you have here better. I am going to see if I use it enough and may get one of the larger ones for the other side of my house in a couple of months. I do have plenty of room and it would just look so gorgeous!I got the plastic smallest one for now:)

hi Victoria, yes most definitely. I have one in the corner of my garden and it takes all the uk weather it throws at it. You do have to be careful where you are going to place it, choose a sheltered spot against a fence or wall where the winds are slightly less, but still in as much sun as possible. Thanks for your comment.

I never had a green thumb, but when I started planting an herb here and there in little pots in my kitchen, I learned the joy of growing plants, especially when you can use them for cooking. I've been thinking of having one of these greenhouses and glad to learn that there are options and portability, too.

I've always wanted a greenhouse. Do you think the plastic ones are sturdy enough against spring thunderstorms? I like this hub. Am going to save it for future reference when I get serious about a greenhouse. Thanks! Many votes.

L.L.Woodward, thanks for taking the time to read my hub, as you can see there are many sizes, materials and options in cost to take into account, but you should find one to suit at a budget you can afford.

SannetL, again thankyou for your lovely comment. You are perfectly right having a greenhouse is a very good way to start young vegetables off, particularly if there is frosty conditions ahead.

I've always thought that having a greenhouse would be the height of luxury. It's nice to learn I don't have to be rich to have one.

      Voted up and SHARED.
