Five Best Kitchen Linens

Updated on November 7, 2010

Do you know that water hoards germs in your kitchen more than in any other part of your house? Why wouldn't germs gather in the kitchen? It is where food is. Cleaning and scrubbing your kitchen is one way of getting rid of these germs. So, why not equip yourself with the right materials and cleaners and go for the kill?

A good set of towel linens is a must. Make sure you get good absorbent cloth for better cleaning. Turn your kitchen into spotless, germ free zone with these linens. There is no need to spend a fortune to make your kitchen clean, but some cloths are more expensive and "feel" and look better than other - they both get the job done.

For the low price you might be expecting something poor quality, but you will be amazed with how absorbent these towels are. These Egyptian kitchen towels come in a set of 5 oversized towels. At first touch, you can feel the quality and durability of these cotton towels.

As they are cotton, you can throw them in with your normal cotton wash and they dry very quickly. Available in a range of colors and suitable for use in the bathroom also - these are a great buy. Absorbent, soft and inexpensive, plus they look good - exactly what you want in a kitchen towel.

This Popcorn Kitchen Towel set comes with 3 towels in different patterns. These are natural colors and very well coordinated. The colors and designs are very versatile - you can give them as a gift without worrying if the set matches - these will go with almost anything. Machine washable also. They are available in other designs also, but these are probably the most versatile colors.

These fit in small glasses quite easily - great for drying the dishes. They are super absorbent, soft and measure 18 x 26inches. Highly recommended as a day to day linen. Well worth the price Amazon sell them for.

They are really very nice washcloths for the price. A great buy since the set includes 8 dishcloths in a variety of different colors. They are heavy kitchen linens that it take a longer time than other dishcloths to become soaked. They are really good for drying dishes.

The only problem is that the red bleeds its color during the first washes, so be sure and wash them separately the first two or three times. After that - not a problem, but if you have just stained everything else pink - you are not going to be happy. Apart from that - these are another useful set of linens that get the job done with minimal expense.

These Microfiber Kitchen linens are really absorbent. They absorb more than ordinary dish cloth thanks to the microfiber design. They are slightly more expensive than regular wash cloths. But - the makers claims it takes 4 years of continues usage before wearing out damaged. I have yet to witness that - see me in three and a half years time.

You can use it with any surface without leaving scratch marks, the cloth is safe with chlorine and bleach and is machine washable and dry able. I like them but only time will tell if they are as long lasting as promised. Evben if they are not - still a comfortable, extra absorbent cloth.

This would be a good gift to a boyfriend or football fan. This two kitchen towel set has an embellished Oklahama Team Logo. But - these towels are not just for show - they really do the job. They are absorbent and soft, but not too soft for everyday kitchen counter use.

It would have been nice to see the logos sown instead of screen printed, but - at the price, I guess that would be too much to ask. And for those of you thinking "what about the Cowboys,"? Worry not - there are dozens of other teams available.
