“I’ve used the FoodSaver V2240 to seal a lot of veggies and fruits and put them in the freezer. It has certainly saved me a lot of money because I don’t have to throw food out anymore.”

“I like buy food in bulk and with this FoodSaver I can save most of my food. Now I don’t have to go to the supermarket often anymore since I can just pull out food that I’ve sealed.”

“I bought this on Amazon at a good price and so far I’m loving it. It does a good job of sealing and vacuuming. The food retains its flavors even after a long time. You can use this unit on just about any bag. I’ve used it on cereal bags, chips bags, and bread bags.”

Everyone knows that keeping air out of a bag with food in it helps it stay fresh longer. Most people will use a zip lock bag but even that still has some air in it. If you really want to prolong the freshness of food, then you need to vacuum seal the bag. Vacuum seal will completely eliminate air.

To seal your food properly, you need to get the FoodSaver V2240 Advanced Design Vacuum Food Sealer. With this device you can choose from two different speed settings. Two different sealing levels also let you choose how you want to seal your dry or moist food. There’s also a canister mode that lets you seal canisters. If you plan on sealing delicate foods, the FoodSaver V2240 Advanced Design Vacuum Food Sealer has a setting that allows you to quickly stop the vacuum process so that your food won’t get crushed.
