Paving is Saving!

A great way to do this is by investing in garden paving. This will completely transform the space and give it a clean tidy look. Especially if you don’t have time to regularly mow your lawn and keep up with all the chores that having a garden requires.

Why Garden Paving is a Great Idea!

Low Maintenance – Unlike garden decking one of the great advantages of garden paving is the fact that it is low maintenance. The only thing you will need to do to keep your paving nice is to have it regularly power hosed to keep it squeaky clean.

You can invest in your own power hose, rent one or employ the services of a company. For best results consult your garden paving fitters for after care instructions.

Aesthetics – Depending on how much or how little of your garden you want paved you can really carve out a very special and unique garden for yourself. Tiles come in many shapes, colours and designs and you can discuss your options with the company you hire about what is best for your needs and tastes.

Some people choose to have only some paving as the like the grass. Others like the complete paving look.

Parking – Certain homeowners choose to get their front lawn completely paved over to allow for more room for guests and family to park. Unlike grass that gets damaged when cars park on it, paving is ideal. Furthermore it is an added incentive for people to visit since they don’t have to worry about finding a space to park in near to your home- they can just park on the paved area.

Socially great too!

Party – Such a space is more conducive to gatherings. Your back yard can now be organized much better with an area for the barbeque and an area for tables and chairs. It will be easy for you to sweep up after such occasions with a yard brush and not worry about the lawn being destroyed by clumsy guests who have had one too many glasses of grape juice.

Value for Money – Perhaps the best benefit overall is the value added to the resale value of your home. Investing in the more expensive of stones will really reap financial rewards for you when it comes to putting your home on the market.

It is an instant selling point when it comes to showing buyers your home especially when they can see how stylish it makes the place look. The only problem you will have is that you may change your mind when it comes to selling as you will probably have put a lot of work into getting your garden right.

I personally prefer garden paving. Lawn takes too much maintenance these days (weekly mowing, etc.). So many houses have lawn but I sometimes feel that the less, the better.
