Hidden money

I'm writing this hub about saving energy which will save you money and put you just a little closer to your dream vacation. Whoops I'm thinking out loud again. I Have been doing some research on the web as well as I have some common sense ideas of my Owen. One thing I have notice here at the house when I go to the sink to Wash my hands or just rinse something off I always reach for the hot water handle and turn it on. No one likes that sudden surprise of cold water on there body even in hot weather. wow feel that? It makes me shiver just thinking about it.

Are you throwing money away

The meter starts turning

Did you know that for every square inch of hot water that flows out of your hot water heater the same amount of cold water flow es in to your hot water heater? Now how Meany times do you weight for the hot water before you Wash your hands? I know I usley just go head and suffer the cold water on my hands so I can get on with what ever it was i was doing. Not ever thinking Every time my hot water heater drops below the 125 degree setting. It starts costing me money ,the electric meter starts turning and the bill gos up,

Will it be hot or cold?

Energy audit around the house

There are also Meany other ways to save on energy. Try doing a energy audit around the home, going from room to room looking for leaks and applying insulating foam in cracks in floors and replacing the puddy around the windows and the self adhesive foam tape weatherstrip around the doors.I found a great site on the Internet Wear you can get a lot more energy saving Ideas.I hope this was a helpful as well as interesting hub for you, I want to thank you for reading my hub.If you want to follow me or leave a comment that would be great. If you see something you want to correct me on please do so, I'm learning and can use all the corrective criticism I can get. God bless you.

Hi Kevin, thanks for sharing these ideas. We need to keep that in mind, with the hot water in our house. We use too much of it. Also, we need to do more of the upkeep with the insulation around windows and doors. Voted useful, thanks so much. :)

Hey Kevin try playing with the usage of multiple modules, you know the ones that allow you to place your text content and images. (editing & proof reading on this too)

Try spacing things out a bit in your hubs and you'll see much more feedback for sure, I love your sense of humor and love for life as a whole. I will vote this one up too, nice image of that money up there.

Your getting the hang of things overall though, I can tell by checking out this hub here after the Life & Death one. Nice job! Catch you in comment heaven here :)
