How to Make a Natural Homemade Window and Mirror Cleaner
Homemade Glass and Mirror Cleaners
Today is all about recipes! I hope you are enjoying all the cleaning and cooking recipes I am sharing with you today!
In the last hub I shared a recipe for an all purpose cleaner, the only downside was it couldn't be used on glass. So now I will share two cleaners to finish the job, one for mirrors and one for cleaning glass! Good-bye streaky windows and mirrors!
For the Mirror Cleaner you will need:
- 1.5 cups of white vinegar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 4-8 drops of any citrus essential oil you like (I personally like using lemon scent in all my cleaners)
Combine all the ingredients in a spray bottle and you're done! Be sure to shake this mixture every time you use it!
For the Window Cleaner you will need:
- 3 teaspoons liquid soap
- 3/4 cup of white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 4-8 drops of lemon oil
Again, combine the mixture in a spray bottle and you're ready to go! Remember to shake this one before every use too!!
Now you have your cleaners and are ready to clean! When you are ready to clean be sure to avoid using paper towels, it's very wasteful and not very green at all! Invest in some nice microfiber cleaning cloths or just come plain white cotton towels for this task. I have both but I love my microfiber cloths, I use them for dusting and polishing as well as cleaning my windows and mirrors!
I hope you enjoy these! Happy cleaning!
