Novelty Ice Trays for Parties

Updated on December 8, 2015

As the weather gets warmer we'll start to see more outdoor parties, picnics and barbeques.  Wouldn't you like to be the party everyone will be talking about the next day? Fred & Friends make a line of novelty ice trays that can help liven up your next party.  Who would have thought making ice could be so much fun?

Utilizing novelty ice trays you can add a unique and festive touch to your next party for minimal cost.  It does take just a little pre-planning so that you have enough ice for everyone at the party.  Everyone will be impressed and asking you where you got the cute ice cubes. You can proudly say you made them yourself.

Plan ahead for other festive occasions you can use these for such as anniversaries, wedding showers, baby showers, birthdays, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day celebrations. Anywhere you'll be having iced drinks is a great time to show off your ice creations!

Chillbots Robot and Wind-up Key Ice Cube Tray

This novelty ice tray makes four cute robots and four wind-up robot keys. These will make a great conversation starter for your next birthday party. Guys of all ages in particular will love these. What little boy wouldn't enjoy a robot birthday party that includes robot ice in their drinks?

Jewel ice Trays

I think these are the most elegant little ice cubes. These ice trays make jewels. The multi-faceted jewels look very stylish and would make any affair classy.

These ice trays could be used for wedding showers, baby showers, and teen girl birthdays as well. I think they would be cute for over-the-hill birthday parties for women too.

Ice Invaders Ice Cube Trays

For the electronics-minded or game-loving party-goers, they'll love these ice invaders!

These novelty ice trays will also work well for boys and adult male birthday parties! They'd make a cute idea for the boys night out when you're having a group of guys over to sit around and play video games.

Bone Chillers

These cute novelty ice trays let you create small ice skulls and crossbones. These aren't just for Halloween either! Imagine all the other uses for them. These would be so cute for rocker themed parties or pirate-themed parties for kids, teens or adults.

Cute Fish Ice Cube Trays

These ice trays make the cutest little fish-shaped ice cubes.

Who can resist these swimming around in their punch? Or why not throw a couple of dozen into your kids wading pool on a hot summer day?

These are perfect for entertaining guests at poolside or patio parties during the hot summer months.

Swizzle Sticks That Make Guitar-Shaped Ice

These swizzle sticks form the neck of an ice guitar when placed in the guitar-shaped ice tray.

What a cute addition to your next party with all your rocking friends! These are perfect for teen parties and college frat parties. These would go great with the skull and crossbones ice tray from above for the ultimate rocker party.

Ruby Slipper Ice Cube Replacements

Okay, technically, these are not ice trays, but these are water filled shoes that you freeze and then place in the drinks in place of ice since ice can sometimes water drinks down. These look like Dorothy's ruby red slippers. This is a cute idea for an all-girl party or bridal shower.

Reusable Chili Pepper Ice Cubes

These are cute reusable chili peppers, called Chilly Peppers. These are similar to the ruby slippers above. You simply freeze them and put them into drinks in place of regular ice cubes.

These are great for your south of the border-themed parties. They are perfect for summertime parties where you don't want the ice to water down your drink as it melts.

Hearts and Stars Ice Cube Trays

These cute ice trays make hearts and stars. These can be used for all types of parties and baby and wedding showers.

They can also be used for 4th of July get-togethers, Memorial Day picnics and Valentine's Day celebrations.

You could freeze red punch to make red stars and red hearts.

Shark Fin Ice Tray

These are one of my favorities. These ice shark fins float on top of your drink.

These are perfect for poolside and patio summer parties.

Why not freeze up a bunch and toss them in your kids' wading pool on a really hot summer day!

Hip Hopsicle Ice Tray

This ice tray makes a microphone, a dollar sign, a turntable and a boombox.

This would work perfectly for children and teen karaoke parties!

Pistol Ice Cube Trays

These novelty ice trays make pistol-shaped ice.

These would be great for a stag party, men's poker party, or for the law enforcement in your family. They would also work great for a murder mystery party. They could also be used in a western-themed birthday party.

Cool ice cude trays. I know my granddaughter and I will enjoy some of these. I love the jewel ones but I think she will choose something else.
