"I'm back, just like a bad disease!"

Updated on March 14, 2012

Gosh, it's been a long time since I've been here. Why, you might ask
(but, then again you might not)? You see, I started a blog some months ago and initially, I didn't have much traffic giving me time to come to the HubPages.

Then, all of a sudden traffic increased to my lupus blog. I was so excited that I kept writing posts, and therefore neglected HubPages.

One day, I came home and there was a message on my phone machine; to make a long story short, a fellow asked me to write for his lupus blog. Even though I didn't post often, writing clinical articles requires a lot of research and time. That meant more time away from HubPages.

Then shoulder surgery kept me out of the “game” for a while long, but now I'm back, “just like a bad disease!” More time away from HubPages, though.

Now, what I'll try to do is to split my time between my this blog and between the HubPages; I purchased voice recognition software which allows me to type longer because my shoulder is still pretty sore. Glad to be back because there's no place like home!

Welcome back Annie and I totally understand how tough it can be to figure out which site to spend what amount of time on. I haven't been on my blog much lately but have been on Hubpages and Redgage a lot!! Sis and I had a scare about you. Somehow people were thinking you were really sick but it ended up being someone else. I feel for whoever it was but it scared the heck out of me and sis. Your the best and it's great to see your smiling face here. It feels warmer here all the sudden :-)

Thanks boomer; the voice recognition software has been a Godsend; n fact I'm using it right now. Towards the end of the day, it comes in real handy and I have a blog, too. While recovering from surgery, it kept me blogging (somewhat) and sane; and still does. Like my profile pic? Thanks!

Welcome back, Annie. Good to have you back on HP and I'm glad you updated us with this hub but I have to tell you that the title of it made me wince! Please don't refer to yourself as a "bad disease." You're a sweetheart who's had to deal with too much illness for far too long.

Again, it's good that you're back.

Love your idea of using voice recognition software. There are probably quite a few people on HubPages who could benefit from using it.

BTW, love your new profile pic.

Hi, Welcome back! I know it can be difficult juggling your life around, and sometimes we get so distracted or other things come along and we don't have a minute spare in the day, so good luck with your future hubs, nice to see you!
