Kids and The Silly Things They Say

Sometimes the greatest joy I receive comes from children and the silly things they say. I'm going to share a few with and you feel free to share yours with me.

" My hand is tingling and pinchy", says my two year old, Dad replies " It's probably asleep honey" She says, " Silly Daddy it can't sleep, it doesn't have eyes".

While being scolded, my three year old grandson, starts walking towards me, a hand covering his eyes, yet peeking at me, " Grammie" he says, " I've had it with your attitude today".

Quite a few years ago one of my daughters got mad and stated " GD" I won't spell it out but you get the idea, I asked her if she knew what that meant and she had no idea she repeated it because she heard it somewhere. I explained that it was like swearing at God and she shouldn't say it again. Sometime passed and she came home from a visit with her Dad and his girlfriend. She told me I had to have a talk with them because they swear at God all the time.

When I asked my granddaughter what she wanted for Christmas, she wasn't sure and her brother piped up with don't you want more hugs from grammie, that's what I want.

My oldest daughter was going out for the night and had her keys and a soda in her hand. My granddaughter, no KiKi you can't drink and drive. Had us in stitches.

It's amazing how their innocent little minds take things literally,

When my daughter asked what my granddaughter was getting her for Mother's Day, she told her should couldn't get her a gift because the store was to far to walk. My daughter said, You can use my car. -- But mama I don't have my license yet, if I drive I will go to jail.

What about you, have any funny kids stories?

Nice that you are recording these cute sayings of your kids and grandkids. Now they won't be forgotten years from now. When my niece was a youngster one of her frequent sayings was "So to me too" in place of the more usual "me too" response when liking something or wanting something. Still makes me smile decades later. Voted up and funny. :)
