Updated on April 24, 2012

Have you ever wanted to take a family holiday but found that staying at a motel or hotel is too expensive? Perhaps your family is large and you cannot stay with friends due to space restrictions?

Well why not buy yourself a motor home? Buy a home on wheels for family vacations!

or perhaps this...

and this for your bathroom!

Let's face the grim reality of it: house prices are soaring and renting a house is paying of another person's property. The annual family vacation is coming up and you want to try something different this year.A motor home can solve this dilemma.

What is a motor home?

A motor home, also known as an RV (recreational vehicle) is literally a house on wheels. It has a kitchen, bedroom and toilet facilities at least. Other motor homes have lounges, extra space and can be an entire house, just mobile. All you'll need this vacation is a piece of land.

The pro's of buying a motor home is the change of scenery as often as you like. You can be free to do your own thing and try a new experience. It's a chance to get out of the usual hustle and bustle of every day life and just relax with the family.

You could go to the lake, the beach, a camping ground or even a remote island. The options are endless and the adventures are sure to be jam packed, full of action and fun.

You can choose the type of flooring you want for your motor home. Some prefer hardwood floors and you can furnish it with whatever you like! The sky is the limit. You could even put in a stove with a grill and kitchen cupboards. Your bathroom could have a shower or a bath or even both! The world is your oyster when it comes to designing your motor home. You could have solar panels on the roof of the motor home to store electricity and if you're out of sunshine (and luck), a backup generator could do the trick! And the best thing? If you don't like your neighbours, you can move without the fuss of a moving company to transport your household items!
