K Machine, Single Coffee, Keurig Brewer, Community Coffee K-Cups Too

Updated on December 27, 2014

Coffee, Tea and Chocolate For Me

Being a healthy eater generally, I will admit that I am a caffeine addict. Specifically coffee, tea and chocolate are my hard addictions.

Lately, the Health Food Crowd insists that one should be caffeine, gluten, and meat free. Perhaps I am the legendary black-sheep because I say yes to all three. Do not try to talk me out of it, I have done the all health, all the time, and I have a few indulgences.

A reader who loves a good mystery, and as a student and writer I know many others who share my love of that magical Bean - the Coffee Bean .

I can go with grinding as we go, instant, or even cheap coffee, as long as it is dark and strong. I drink several cups of coffee and tea per day. I prefer Community Coffee that is brokered out of Louisiana US, but a new Coffee Love has come into my life.

While doing research on the Keurig Coffee Makers, I found kits Keurig sells kits and baskets so coffee lovers can pack their own Coffee and Tea, so Community Coffee can still be a favorite...

While on assignment from a Staffing, or Temp Agency, I was placed where the business has a Keurig Brewer. In the kitchen where the Kuerig is there are also racks filled with Coffee Flavors, Tea Types and Cocoa for every taste and need.

Choose from Coffee, Cocoa or Teas

There are several varieties of coffees and teas; Blueberry Mountain, Cinnamon Donut, Cocoa, Dark Roast, Medium Roast, Green Tea, India Spice Chai Tea.

There is one packet per cup. There are several choices as far as ounces desired, on a lit up screen. This office has it set to 8oz. cups, although there are allowances to make it weaker or stronger.

The company has done cost analysis, and have found there is less waste and loss, by having these K-Cups . A person is asked to use the same cup all day, or bring there own, but overall they have concluded that the cost and benefits add up to all positives in this large worldwide company.

The smell of one cup brewing is quick but pungent. No one is sneaking around getting coffee or tea. It is a beautiful system. I have used the Kuerig 2 - 3 times each day for two weeks, and I know that I want this system for our home.

As I searched Amazon to see how much a Keurig runs for personal Brewing system, I decided, "Hey, I can make a Hub about this!" -

And. ..The kids always ask me what I want for Christmas, and I can never think - I am putting my order in lovelies! Just think, if you guys get together and get the K-Cup Variety packs as an added gift, it will come in handy for when you visit!

Visions of Kuerig are dancing in my head...mmm SugarPlum Tea!, Peppermint Schnapps' Tea,

I went south to my sisters over Thanksgiving and they have three different types of coffee makers. You've high lighted one of them today. It makes great coffee and I love the indivdual service, something for everyone. Coffee is good food if you ask me. :)

I think it is freeze dried or something, hot water pumps in through very scarp needles. There is a flavor you will love I am pretty sure. The more you buy, the cheaper it is. It makes sense in many ways. I too make a big pot, and by the time I am ready its been a while.

These are delicious. It is bad when someone is the first addict to pop a dark roast Mountain Bold Something late in the afternoon, because it is like cartoons of old, you can hear a collective groan and a slow zombie crowd filters in the coffee room like drawn by "smell clouds". It helps production at work. There are the Green, Earl Grey and India Spiced Chai Tea. I like them too. They make the room smell good too. Hot Chocolate Rocks.

Ok, this is great. I have heard about it and how companies are switching over to using them. I haven't had the opportunity to try any yet, I suppose I need to visit some company that serves it! I gotta have my coffee. My machine shuts off after 3 hours and sometimes I don't finish the pot, so maybe this might be for me. How does it taste? Does the flavor compare to Folgers? Cause I really like Folgers... LOL

      Are the K-cups a liquid?

      Great Hub!

Thank you Pcunix! I do like the stronger brew, and according to the little research I have done, they have alluded the strength is an option. I will check out your Hub, I didn't think to look for other Hubs...duh - guess I thought this was a fairly new machine!

We bought one a few years ago. We love it! But .. Take a look at my hub, because the commercial machines apparently brew differently than the home models and our first reaction was that it made weak coffee - even though we had both liked the coffee from commercial versions! We got used to it, but be aware that you may be surprised.

My wife's sister complained that her model (the cheapest one) made it too strong, so all the models apparently vary.
