Popular 2012 Planners and Personal Organizers from Amazon

Updated on January 16, 2016

Featuring Daily, Weekly and Monthly Planners and Organizers

It’s now less than 15 days before we leave the year 2011 and usher in the year 2012. Last year, I published the bestselling 2012 daily planners from Amazon. As its title implies, that hub focused on the daily planners for 2011 that one can buy from Amazon.com. This time, I will expand the topic (and the products) to include weekly and monthly planners as well.

But wait, before we go into these planners, some people are saying that they don’t need these planners because they have their gadgets where they can key in what they can basically write in these planners.

Well, personally, I still prefer to have a planner for planning my day to day activities than using a gadget such as an iPhone, iPad, etc. For one, the daily planner is cheaper. For another, you can write a lot more in a planner. You can write not only your daily appointments and plans, you can also write your mission, your goals, your accomplishments for the days, your priorities, any follow - ups and a much more descriptive to – do list. You can also see the whole month or week at a glance plus if you want to see something, you can easily find it by flipping through the pages.

So what are the monthly and daily planners and personal organizers available in Amazon.com? Here are the more popular ones.

At – A – Glance Recycled Monthly Planner

This is a rather large monthly planner – 9 x 11 inches or about the size of a regular bond paper. The color is black, which makes it an elegant planner to carry around. It has 13 months in it, from January 2012 to January 2013. Although it’s a monthly planner, you don’t have to worry about the daily boxes being too small. One month is actually contained in a 2 – page spread. This monthly planner has the standard telephone and address page and a memo section that can be easily perforated. And don’t worry about the environment, the paper in this planner is of high quality, with a 30% post – consumer waste paper on it.

DayMinder Recycled Monthly Planner

With 6 x 9 inches, this one is of smaller size than the first product. It weighs less than a pound. One month is also contained in a 2 – page spread and you can also perforate the pages. What’s different is its memo space that has spaces for specific notes in it. It’s very easy to get organized with this planner.

Brownline Daily Planner with Twin Wires

This product got a perfect 5 stars in Amazon.com. All the customer reviews say almost the same thing – that it has plenty of room for writing down plans and appointments. And it comes in a cheaper price. The size is only 8 x 5, so this is smaller than the monthly planners but it packs more punch. It has a twin – wire binding and its cover is black and soft, with a lizard – look. The appointment schedule is laid out in 30 – minute intervals from 7:00 in the morning to 7:30 in the evening. Not content with a daily appointment section, it also has a monthly planner placed before each month. And each appointment page has 3 blocks at the bottom for the user to write down reminders, notes and calls.

Mary Engelbreit’s You Go, Girl: 2012 Monthly Pocket Planner

If you want to have a planner that is useful and cute at the same time, this one is definitely it. The front showcases a design from Mary Enngelbreit, plus her drawings also grace the sides of the pages where the monthly calendars are. Its small size is perfect for a woman’s purse so it can be carried everywhere. It has its own slipcase so no more torn pages. Despite its small size, this planner also provides space for noting down names and numbers plus it also has a notes section that one can use to write down reminders, lists and to – dos.

The Left – Hander’s: Left – Handed Ledends, Lore and More: 2012 Weekly Planning Calendar

My last hub about planners contained a planner for left handers and based on the comments I received, a lot of people are unaware that there’s a planner for left – handed people. Well, for 2012, let’s just say I’m continuing the tradition.

This planner is perfect for left – handed people. The binding is on the right side and the planning pages for each week are on the left side. But that doesn’t mean the right side is left blank. You can find interesting facts and trivia about left – handedness or left – handed people on this side. Definitely, not a boring planner to use.

Posh 2012 – 13 Planning Calendar Teal Floral – 2 Year Monthly Planner Calendar

With its floral design (printed with metallic ink), this is a very decorative planner but make no mistake about it, it is very functional, too. It is a pocket planner (6.8 x 6.3 x 0.3 inches) featuring 24 monthly grid on a dated spread. No space on the planner is wasted, you can even use the back to write down names and addresses, notes and other important information.

The Sacred Journey: Daily Journal for Your Soul

The Sacred Journey: Daily Journal for Your Soul 2012 Planner

As one user describes this, it’s a planner, a calendar and a journal in one. It may be a 2012 planner but you can go forward and make your plans for 2013. It has full – page weekly and monthly calendar grids for 2012 and full – page yearly grids for both 2012 and 2013. It has lots of spaces for writing, making it very ideal for journal writing. In fact, its best feature is that it has 280 pages, lots of spaces to write. In fact, one user said that she (or he) used it as a scrapbook, it has that much room.

Dilbert: 2012 Weekly Planner Calendar

Let’s have some fun with a weekly planner. The Dilbert 2012 Planner is a spiral – bound weekly planner with a full – color Dilbert cartoon every Sunday, so you will have something to look forward to every week. Lest we forget what it is really for, this planner has a weekly spread that provides ample room for the user to write down his plans and thoughts for the week. If you are a Dilbert fan, this planner is definitely for you.

2012 Planner Calendar Year Fashion Daily Day Planner Organizer - Damask

Last, but not the least, we have this daily planner with an intriguing damask design. This planner is for those who don’t want to have the same old, same old black (or brown) leather bound planner. It features not only a daily planner but also a monthly spread laid out before each month, wherein you can find fashion and beauty tips and inspirational quotes. It also has a weekly view planner page. But don’t stop there, you can also utilize its personal info page, address and notes pages and the yearly goals page. It can fit in anybody’s purse but it definitely has enough room for anyone’s writing.

And that’s it. Those are the popular 2012 daily, weekly and monthly planners from Amazon.com. There are actually a lot more and I have to say there are a lot more choices than what I saw last year. But don’t let that deter you from looking them over and finding the right one for you. Whatever planner you choose, remember it’s not just a ‘planner’, it is also something that you can use to organize your life. Have a Happy New Year and thanks for reading my hub!
