Different Potted Plants - A Photo Gallery

Potted gardens are a neat option for many gardeners, especially those that don't have a lot of ground to work for their gardens. I love to use pots in my gardens for places like a porch or deck, or for my herb garden.

There are a few downsides, like having to water more in warmer weather, but the downsides can be easily dealt with. The results can be so amazing and enjoyable. Currently, outside my back door I have many colorful flowers growing, in hopes of attracting some butterflies and bees, even some birds hopefully. The different colors bring such joy on a summer's day.

Here are some photos I wanted to share, showing different examples of potted plants in gardens, including even small trees! Hope you enjoy. If you care to share your favorite, please do below in the comment section. If you have some favorite tips or experiences in gardening with pots, I would love to hear those as well.

Photo 1 - The beautiful fuschia flower always gets my attention whenever I see it. I recall being a young girl, and my grandmother loving to purchase a beautiful fuschia to bring home and nurture. They are amazing flowers, and colors are out of this world. The colors of the tiles on the wall add to the overall touch here, I think.

Photo 2 - Growing trees in a pot seems like a really neat thing to do, though I never have done it. My favorite are citrus trees that I have seen people grow in pots. You can move them around, and they are just lovely. I liked this potted specimen, though don't have any of my own like this.

Photo 3 - This is an example of using potted plants in an entry to a Chinese Garden. Set on either side, they make a nice entrance even nicer. People do this a lot with potted plants at the entrance to a house very often.

Photos 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 - These photos are showcasing different kinds of ways you can display all kinds of different plants in flowers. The effects are charming, and beautiful so often! I absolutely love getting different ideas from others for my potted flower designs.

Photo 9 - I think this photo shows how fun a cacti display can be! I absolutely love cacti, as long as I am not pricked by their spines, and this shows how tidy and neat it can be. It makes me think of Arizona, and how beautiful that place can be with all the cacti. It's a great option for people who live in a desert.

Hello Ourforeverisnow, Jungles in the winter are great things if we can keep a potted garden growing well! I would love to visit Maine one day, and so happy you have found a way to garden with pots so well. Thanks for your comment.
