Presto PopLite Hot Air Corn Popper

Updated on January 11, 2012

There is nothing like old fashioned popped popcorn. It seems to get rarer every year, so I started searching for the perfect original, popcorn maker. I found one that works perfectly; it is the Presto 114316 04820 PopLite Hot Air Corn Popper. It has been a tradition at my home, for the last few generations to curl up with a good movie on a slow Friday or Saturday night and watch a movie with the family. With the movie, though you need to have some movie popcorn and the microwavable packets just were not the same. The taste was defiantly different.

So, looking online I found this Presto 114316 04820 PopLite Hot Air Corn Popper. You can purchase popcorn kernels from most grocery stores still. I love the Orville Redenbacher it’s the closet I have come to finding the perfect popcorn kernel that taste like it has come off the corn.

Once you place the popcorn in the Presto 114316 04820 PopLite Hot Air Corn Popper it takes less than 3 minutes to have enough popcorn. The equivalent to about 18 cups of popcorn is made, or two exceedingly large bowls ready for you to enjoy while watching the movie.

One positive thing about the Presto 114316 04820 PopLite Hot Air Corn Popper is I know I’m getting my family a healthy snake. The presto popcorn maker uses hot air to pop the popcorn and not oil. This results in fluffy popcorn with hardly any unpopped kernels. This also makes for the lowest calorie snake that you can get with a traditional popcorn popper.

Of course, nothing is more essential them the movie flavor butter, to add it is even easier. There is a small 1/2 cup holder at the top of the popper where you can use low fat butter, margarine or movie popcorn. It spreads the better evenly over the popcorn by attaching itself as the popcorn is being pooped.

Always remember to keep the popcorn popper lid on the popcorn maker this prevents the popcorn from flying all over the room. I learned this when my 4 year old decided it was a large yellow stick of butter. You can empty the popper with some water, and clean the top when the butter is, and there is no other cleanup required.

1. Easy to use

2. ½ cup butter drip on top

3. Easy cleanup

4. Healthy and light because no oil is required

5. Taste fantastic on movie night

6. Fast pooper 16 cups in less than 3 min

7. Comes with two year manufacture warranty.
