Gardens - They are so valuable to Us in so many ways
This is a reminder for us, that gardens can be simply a wonderful place to escape away to once in a while. Even if they are small, as in a potted garden on a small deck space, or some equivalent. Life is precious, and time flies by. We get so busy and caught up in what stresses us out. There is really no avoiding it, not all the time anyway.
Sometimes we long to get away, only to feel frustrated we can't do that either. I have found that once in a while seeking some time alone or with someone special, in a garden, is just what is needed to bring back some peace and joy. We can get overwhelmed by things we can't control, and everyone has some kind of little escape. Perhaps it is a good book, a bubble bath, exercise, going to a movie, crafting, or some hobby. For me, a garden can bring some real tranquility, even if I don't think I need it. Its good to get out and seek out such places.
For instance, one day my son invited me to go out and take a little walk with him, like a nature walk. I almost said I was too busy! We had the best time. He wanted to show me where he had seen a butterfly on these one flowers, and hoped there would be more to see again. Wow, how precious that was to me, and I will always remember that with him! Another time, my other son went to the Butterfly house with me, and I was just asking in passing if he wanted to go. He did! What precious times. My husband and sons know my love of gardens, and are very kind to let me go to them if we are in a new area for whatever reason, if we have the time to. This means the world to me!
The kinds of gardens I am speaking of don't need to be anything particular, like a botanical garden, or an official "kept" garden. I am speaking of nature's simple yet spectacular gardens as well. A scene even, will be just enough. Taking some time to breathe it all in deeply, and exhale out the stress of life, as it were. Soak it all in. This is something worth putting on a bucket list, if you haven't done such a thing in a while!
I hope that even if you feel too busy, that you make a short amount of time to go and reconnect with nature. It is beautiful! Even big cities have sometimes allowed for small garden areas. I would search it in a simple web search, or ask around. Enjoy whatever you can, as often as you can. Life is precious and there is beauty all around you if you but look for it.
What I share here are several pictures, that I hope don't overload anyone's computer as they try to load. If they do, I can redo the format I have here, to make more thumbnails for instance. Underneath each photo, I share a little bit of information about that photo. You can make sure to see them all by clicking on one, then arrowing through the slide show manually. Something in each of these caught my eye enough to want to snap a photo of it.
My hope is that if nothing else, you can enjoy some garden scenes here, and share in some of the beauty I have seen and observed in life. Its a true joy and passion of mine, that I love to show and share with others. May you find the love, joy and beauty in the world around us. It is magical, mysterious, and full of wonder all the time.

Beautiful gardens, you are very good at taking nice photos. I have a large garden where I spend many hours, but I can't take photos like you, most likely because I need glasses for reading, when in the garden I don't wear them so I cannot see the picture very clear, when taking photos.
Thanks for sharing just what I needed after a busy christmas day. Relaxing.
Our community garden isn't that beautiful, i love the peaceful scenery
