Don't Get Your Hands Wet, Just Twist And Mop

I recently needed to replace my tired old rag mop, so off to Wal Marts I went. Well to my sad disappointment they were out of my favorite mop, which is also an O cedar product. I decided to give the O cedar "Twist 'N Mop a try, as I don't care for sponge mops or string mops (which you have to wring out by hand.

The O cedar Twist 'N Mop Features:

This mop is made of cotton fibers, and is safe to use on marble, tile, ceramic and linoleum floors. I also used it on my wood floors with no problem. There is also a no-scratch scrubber feature on the tip of the mop, which helps to remove scuff marks and other stubborn marks or stains. Also the cotton mop head is superabsorbent. You can also purchase cotton mop head refills.

You should change the mop head every 3 to 6 months for best results, as well as cleaning the mop head well after each use. This will help make the mop last longer.

How To Use The "Twist 'N Mop:

** First you must unlock the nut and push the wringer down. Dampen the mop head really good in hot soapy water.

** To wring the mop out, you will pull the wringer up and twist tight.

** To mop, you push the wringer down so it makes like an umbrella affect.

** Using the scrubber you will need to pull the wringer up, and point the scrubber tip firmly on the area to be scrubbed.

** To dry the mop, after cleaning it first, wring out the excess water, then pull the wringer up and lock the nut in place. Then store the mop with the head facing up. This way it will dry quicker.

What Do I Think About The "Twist 'N Mop?

I have to say I do like the mop, and it does clean really good, but I had a little bit of a hard time getting the mop to fan out, and swirl around ( as the cotton strings are not individually loose). The head kind of clumps up a bit, and you kinda have to shake it around to get it to separate and fan out. I did not like it for the corners though, as it is a little bit bulky to really get into the corners really good. It is however a good sturdy mop, and has a nice hand grip. The mop itself is not heavy, so it is easy to use. The scrubber part works pretty good as well. I still like my rag mop better though, but I would recommend the O cedar " Twist 'N Mop, as like I said it does do a good job in cleaning the floors. And of course O cedar is a dependable product you can trust, as they have been in business for over 100 years, since 1906. O cedar also offers many other products for all your cleaning needs.

I bought a micro-fiber mop and the wringer head cover will not stay up so I can mop without it rubbing the floor. What is wrong and what can I do?
