The Comeback Kids!

HEY STELLA.... !!!

After years and years of gardening in a few different States on the East Coast, I've come to learn that not all flowers, bulbs or plants do well in different locations. Sadly, we've had to adjust our favorite flower choices to each location that we moved to. There is of course an exception to every rule. And the only flower that I've had success with in three different States are the Stella d'oro Day Lilies.

This time I really hit pay dirt! I picked up 4 Stella d'oro Day Lily plants at one of the Marts at the end of the season, for only $2 each. I had forgotten that I planted them and couldn't stop smiling when their sunshine colored flowers popped up to great the glory of the day, the very next spring.

Wherever we live, we always pick a few trees around the property to build raised flower beds. The bed where the Lilies are had trouble with most of the flowers and plants that we planted until the Stella d'oro's moved in.

Try to grow these lovely Lilies in your neck of the woods... and you'll be smiling sunshine smiles when their flowers appear to greet you each spring.

Until we meet again... Francesca27

I had the same situation when I moved from the north to the south. I'll have to see if I can find these lilies in my area.

Definetly beautiful. I love it when you don't have to worry about planting new ones every year.
