The Legendary Shack Shakers. Talking to the dark.

Our sweet Becky.

As I sit with my aching leg typing this hub I am reminded of mom's house, and our legendary shack shakers who have done their best to try to succeed in aggravating my family over ridiculous costly ideas for which I do not intend to ponder over.

The day was long yesterday, but I succeeded in getting work done, and that ain't bad for , and old man like me.

Before I closed the front door to mom's old house yesterday I spoke in the dark just in case mom's ghost was in there.

I said, mom, mom, mom, if you can hear me, I love you with every breath I take, and I know you want rest until Joann, and Becky , and I are back in you're home to bring life back into it.

The house was pitch black inside. My natural fear of total darkness made me hesitant about walking into her home so I closed the door , and walked home next door.

Life has been hard on Joann, and Becky, and I. We lost my mother, and father, and the house is empty. We lost Becky's horse to old age. We lost Arthur, and Wolf, our two wonderful dogs to old age. I grow so tired of losing what we love, and cherish. Life is cruel, but I reckon death has it's place in natural events so that new life can take it's place. It is what God wants so I can not question the rules .

Today I will find more work to do. I am going to paint mom's house blue. It will be sky blue which is Joann's favorite color. It will cost me a few years of time to fix the house the way I want it, but I will do it. Money does not grow on trees, but I will invest as much as I can into my projects.

I think my yard sale idea may help a little. I am anxious to start building a few outdoor tables. Hopefully I would like to complete two of them today. The yard sales should help me to raise some repair money for the house. We have a lot of stuff we could sell if customers are interested .

I have too many guitars, and we have too many pots, and pans. We have tons of clothes, and lots of nick knacks. I plan to use the house as a shop, and our front porch. It should be interesting, and fun. I will still have time to write. I love to write.

Today I will be busy after I eat breakfast. I do not know what to do first, but I like to work as long as my legs will allow me walk.

God Bless Everyone.

Dear James : Nice to hear from you. Really appreciate you're visit. I can not walk this morning. Hurt my leg pretty bad putting furniture back into mom's house. Suffered all night. I am a walking 911 emergency, thats what I am. But I will probably heel. Is it heel, or heal ? More likely heal. Heel pertains to my dog spot. Heel spot heel ! God Bless you, and we cherish you.

Is there such a thing as "too many guitars?" :D

Just kidding. Life is hard for you, Joann, and Becky. I know you're tired. And you have lost many loved ones. Life is tinged with sadness, if not overwhelmed by it. Paint mom's house sky blue.
