The Little Yellow Bird. My Husband's Jet Was Shot Down. Part 48.

Updated on August 24, 2015

Created Sunday, April 3, 2011

The little yellow bird holds her husband in her arms. His Jet Fighter was shot down by a missile over snow capped mountains.

The Commander lost his leg during ejection. His navigator sustained wounds when his parachute did not function correctly .

It was a classified mission designed to disarm nuclear weapons by using secret devices.

The commander , navigator ,and a specialized team of experts disarmed weapons of major destruction, but they could not exit the kill zone quick enough for the fighter to dodge the missile .

In Mid Air the jet free fell over snow capped mountains . The Marines managed to reach the commander, and navigator , for successful extractions.

Services were held for a few members of the rescue team that that sustained gun fire.

The little yellow bird remained near her husband, and so did the triplets by their daddy.

The triplets have a Chiwawa puppy named Hercules. The little dog sleeps with the triplets , and with the Red Cross Nurse at night. Right now the girls stay with their mother, and dad at the hospital.

The commander's work was done. He took, and early leave because it would be difficult to test pilot jets with his injuries.

The President understood his desires , and had him relieved of duties , for a while. He received a medal at the hospital, and other team members received them too .

The Little Yellow Bird , and her husband, and their triplets have had thoughts about moving to another mansion somewhere in the deep south .

This is very sad because it has happened in a similar way many times over. Thank you for reminding us of those who daily put their lives in danger for this country and their families who serve right along with them in their own ways.
