The Little Yellow Bird. Tulip, Rosy, And Daisy Go On A Triple Date.

Updated on June 2, 2011

Daisy, Tulip, and Rosy went on a triple date with some decent boys from high school. The triplets are all on the Honor Roll at high school. Their daddy retired permanently , and early from the military after he was shot down in his stealth bomber, and lost his leg.

The Little Yellow Bird , and her family live in Louisiana. They live in a wonderful mansion. Daisy, Tulip, and Rosy , and their dates flew by the old man's house trailer down the street. The triplets brought their binoculars with them to see the old man's place while they were on a picnic with their boy friends.

Their boy friends were enjoying their tuna salad sandwiches the girls made for them, and the fried chicken with potato salad , and ice tea.

The boys are on the swim team. They really are speedy fast swimmers. The girls watched the house trailer , and they saw the old man's cat Boo looking out a back window. The old man was cutting tall grass with his electric hedge trimmer. The old man's cord must have been real long because his wife Joann walked on the porch to untangle a lot of it.

The old man looked very disgusted because he lost one of his walking canes. Now he has to buy another one because he needs two canes at all times to walk somewhat effectively.

The old man grumbled, and griped because he wanted matching walking canes. He also needs some new shoes. He has had his same old stinking shoes he said for about fifty years he said.

The little yellow bird's mom, and dad have been getting on in years. They pretty much stay around the mansion , and enjoy trying to help cook outdoor meals around the patio. Grandpa likes to use the barbecue grill while grandma studies recipes to make new , and exciting meals.

The triplets have really grown up to be beautiful girls, and they look great in shorts. Their boy friends are real happy about that, and they too make good grades in high school.

The triplets, and their boy friends flew closer to the old man's house trailer, and landed on an old television antenna to chirp at Joann, and Becky that were in the house trailer.

Becky, their daughter that has that uses a motorized wheelchair , pointed at the triplets when she looked out the living room window. Becky said, " Joann come see the bunch of little birds outside watching us."

Joann walked by Becky, and recognized the triplets outside with their friends. Joann , and Becky waved a little at them.

Joann raised the window, and spoke to the little birds. She told them about the nine cats they have, and she wanted to invite the birds inside , but she worried that, that might not be too safe.

The little birds chirped kindly , and then they flew back to their picnic blanket on some high sturdy limbs of a large lovely oak tree.

Mr. Yellow Bird likes to play golf with his Louisiana friends. He does not think much about his leg that he lost. He does just fine with his artificial one.

The Little Yellow bird is happy these days. For the time being she is content that her family is comfortable , and their living their lives the way they wish.

Grandma made a very large bucket of potato salad, enough to feed and army. She figured the triplets, and their boy friends would be flying back to the mansion very hungry soon.

Later in the afternoon when it cools off a bit, the old man will cook another pot of delicious red beans that Joann, and Becky will enjoy. The old man brings his folding chair up to the sink, and begins his daily routine of asking Joann to hand him certain ingredients, and things that he can put into his pot. It takes a good while before the beans really cook well .

The old man made another batch of biscuits that came out fairly fine. He plans to bake another chocolate cake. They like German chocolate cake. The store bought cake mix, and icing were only four dollars. The old man grumbled again because he forgot to buy a head of lettuce. He likes to chop it up, and put it in a refrigerator just in case some one wants a piece of lettuce in a sandwich.

God Bless Everyone.

Thank you for a happy update on everyone. Sorry you lost one of your canes! That potato salad sure does sound good. Maybe I'll make some when the weather cools down a little and boiling water doesn't make the kitchen so hot. God bless you, Joann and Becky!
