The Odor Killers

Updated on April 10, 2010

Going to the loo to take a dump is often a taken-for-granted human function. We have come to a point that we ignore the ordinary objects we see in the toilet. We have gotten used to seeing the usual porcelain “throne” with its mate, the toilet sink, the tiles on the wall and floor, and the cleanliness of the place.

Most of all, we have gotten used to using toilet paper and flushing with water after that without water and paper we often experience high levels of anxiety. Hyperventilating from a panic attack is enough cause for worry, but taking large, deep breaths while you are taking a dump is worse. Smelling your own body odor is pleasurable compared to smelling your own brown stuff.

Good thing we already have options for taking care of natural odors in the toilet. Products, such as The Drops, are called toilet odor eliminators. They are oil-based and form a thin film on the surface of the toilet water. This oily film forms a shield that prevents the feces and the odor from breaking the water’s surface.

Aside from forming a shield, these toilet odor eliminators have strong aromatic scents that effectively cover up the toilet odors. They are available in handy packages that consumers can carry around, safely hidden inside their purses or pockets.

Toilet deodorizers usually contain chemicals that disinfect as well as deodorize the toilet. This is the same with products that deodorize the toilet water especially during defecation. The product also contains a chemical that forms a coating or film on the water’s surface.

Although most people think chemicals are hazardous to human health and the environment, toilet deodorizers are often safe to use, even by children, and they will not poison the environment.

These sanitary products are especially perfect for use while camping or traveling to beaches and other undeveloped areas. They are also useful companions while traveling to other countries where the availability of toilets, water and toilet paper is uncertain.
