Unusual And Creative Lamps To Light Up Your Interiors
Lamps are Unique Styling Treasures For Your Home. Whenever you plan to redesign or just refashion your homes you’ll definitely be looking for the WOW factor. This can be brought in by introducing some new designs and artefacts to your home. The regular run of the mill designs however beautiful they look are a passé, they no more have that novelty factor. What will you do to get that surprise element into your living room or the library or bedroom? I was just surfing the net for some great designs and found something that made me gape in wonder and I so badly wanted those Lamps. They are all so very creative, unusual and wonderful. Merely looking at such objects of creativity gets your creative juices flowing. A catchy Lamp in your living room is the best way to give it a funky and creative look, and also garner a lot of attention from friends, relatives and guests.
There were many pretty designs but I have compiled the few that fascinated me and were more than just a pretty design.
1. The chair lamp-
The lamp is not only integrated with the chair but also designed such that it can stand against the wall when the chair is folded and work as any other floor standing design. With an unfolded chair you are ready to enjoy a great book in the light of such a creative lamp.
2. The Vintage scooter lamp-
Isn’t this just awesome? Designer Maurizio lamponi has designed various such lamps from the recycled parts of vintage, cycles, scooters and bikes etc. I absolutely adore this one.
3. Giant lamp-
Our eyes and our senses have been trained and used to seeing this classic table lamp design. But a blown out giant version of this table lamp comes as a shocker. This reminds me of the famous Luxo Jr animated short film by pixar.
4. Pipe lamp
The pipe lamp lights up by turning the valve just like we turn on the flow of our taps. Just turn it on and let the light flow. The chunky recycled look of the lamp makes it unusual and you definitely can’t resist admiring the design.
5. Gravity bulbs
This is an absolutely brilliant design. The collection was showcased in 2009 at Milan by a Dutch designer Pieke Bergmans as a part of her project called design virus. The hand blown bulbs contain led lights and look quite weighed down resting on various furniture pieces they are meant for.
