When Life Gives You Lemons.... Your Home Will Smell Delicious!

I thought I had discovered every possible way to re-use lemon peel. Being my most favorite scent and the décor of our kitchen, lemons are obviously the most important fruit to me! LOL :) Not to mention, they remind me of my Mimi. It may sound strange, but there's just something about it's aroma that seems therapeutic. This scent can pick me up, no matter what, and always leaves a note of freshness. Enough with the glory of this ultra-citrusy-magnificent fruit. Here's how you can use leftover lemon peel to keep your home smelling fresh:

Step One: Slice up lemon peel into long, thin slices.

Step Two: Apply slices into air vent.

Step Three: Turn on fan and enjoy!

I first tried this hack in our small guest bathroom. Leaving the peels in for only an hour, I was thrilled. No more wasting money on hyper-scented ingredients! (Side note: I also love to use lemon scented essential oil as a home deodorizer, but this is not recommended if you have pets.)
