Cheap Bookshelves and Bookcases on Craigslist

Have you ever tried to find cheap bookshelves? It's not easy! If you go to a furniture place you can expect to pay $50 for a small bookshelf or $100 for a large one. Since you can't really import a bookcase from china, the price of them is pretty high, especially for the solid wood ones. The other thing to consider is that they are in such high demand because everyone has books and needs to store them properly. So now that you see why they are so tough to find cheap you can be glad to know about Craigslist.

I included a quick little video about a great score I made on craigslist recently on some bookshelves. You can find some great deals on Craigslist. You can also find some excellent deals on Ebay for local pickup although that is rarer to come across. Most often those items will be higher value collectable and antique ones as well. Craigslist is the best because most often it is someone who must get rid of the item and will take next to nothing for you to haul it away. Bookshelves are just one thing that I have gotten from craigslist, but they are one of the most important items that you can find and they go quick, so you better be on the ball if you want them.

Tag sales and moving sales are another great place to get bookshelves. I have picked up some of them sometimes. People are trying to clear them out and need them gone. This is one of the most important things to remember for how to get anything cheap! The other place I have had great success finding bookshelves is at small local thrift shops. If they do take them in, which some do not, you can find some great deals because they are so tight for space in some of the shops. They will let you have them real cheap! So Ultimately what I am saying is, if you are looking to get a great deal just look around and be a little patient. You don't have to spend a lot to get a lot!

A lot of businesses also use book cases. You can even flip book shelves from craigslist for profit!
