Affordable White Dinner Dishes and Plates

Updated on March 12, 2011

Whether you're just starting out on your own or have an established home, a set of white dinner plates will always come in handy. A table set with white dinnerware can easily be dressed up with linens and flowers that reflect the colors of the season or the occasion.

White dinner plates don't necessarily need to be drab. When shopping for them, take note of the materials they are made with. Shinier materials, such as glass, china or porcelain, will serve well at fancy occasions or for everyday meals, while more textured dishes, such as earthenware, are for more casual occasions.

Soup plates and chargers are also available. All dishes sold in sets of 6. While the manufacturer claims these dishes are made in Italy, the dishes come with stamps on them marked "Made in Spain".

AW, I had read in a couple of forum threads that HP's IdeaBank was bringing in a lot of traffic. Relache was one of those folks who said that. So....this is from the IdeaBank.

Being a passionate cook, I've always been a fan of white dinner plates and nothing else. Gotta be able to see the contrast of great food on a plate! BTW, did you use keyword search, SEO etc to come up with the title? Need to get my head around your advice earlier. Cheers!
