Does anyone know how to keep yellow jackets and off of hummingbird feeders? Yellow jacket and other bees can be very active during the early part of september. However they do a good job of hanging all over nectar feeders placed out for hummers. They are no doubt annoying pests! So has anyone had any luck so far in keeping them away from the feeders without causing harm to feeding hummingbirds?

I recently employed your method of the bee trap and it is working great. Thank you again for the great advice. Sorry I didn't come across your answer earlier in the summer. But as they say it's never too late!
