You can easily clean the outside of your home with baking soda. You can use a liquid plant food bottle that attaches to your hose or you can use a bottle that has an attached hose and pump to create pressure in the bottle to make it easy to apply as a spray. I have used the bottle method for insecticides as well.
Use one cup of baking soda per 1/2 gallon of water in sprayer or just put the whole box in the attached hose delivery bottle. Spray an area and then use a stiff brush to scrub the area. In the automotive section of stores like Walmart you can find an extending handle brush used for cleaning RV's. This method makes it very easy to get dirt and green moss off of siding.
Incidentally it will keep away ants from the immediate area of your home as well.
