In my opinion, it's green (runner) beans. You can grow them in a tub with a tall wigwam of sticks over it. The beans grow about 6 feet tall. The variety I like has red flowers (scarlet emperor). Beans improve the soil by adding nitrogen. They seldom get diseases (unlike peas). They can be grown outise in temperate climates. You can use them as a temporary hedging in the summer, to hide parts of the garden/. You can pick the beans straight off the vine and eat them there and then or you can slice and cook them. If you let them grow on, and allow the beans inside to develop, you can cook the beans or dry and store them. Beans are very nutritious.
