Why would our house alarm go off in the middle of the night and it was saying a certain door was opened when everything was just fine and all was locked up tight? All the deadbolts were still locked and no one broke into our home. I am wondering what would set the alarm off when no one was breaking in? Thanks for answering.

Oh, Wow, Dear Romoes, well, it may very well be a combination of all the these you have stated here!!! I would have never thought of these, but they all make perfect sense of course. You are brilliant. We will check of all these out! Thank you!!!
So true RTalloni!!! We should not really depend on technology for sure! Sometimes our car alarm will go off for no reason when the car is inside of our closed garage? So, there you go. Thank you for answering.
Thanks Jackie, Yes, that is true, will check into that. We have motion-censored lights on each corner of the back of the house and locked gates to the privacy fence and a lamppost that lights up the front. So strange.
Thank you wychic for sharing your husband's insight as a home security expert! I will share with my husband.
Yes, Sparklea, we jumped out of bed so fast, but it has only happened once so far. If it happens more, we will surely get it checked out. In our other home, we were blasted out of bed three Sundays in a row LOL - you may remember! God bless
