Have you ever grown your tomatoes from seed and do you have any good tips for that?

I have three different kinds sprouting in one large container and wonder if I should separate them now into single containers or what? Will they grow better by themselves?

I have never done it before either but they have all sprouted so well; I am hoping to have many tomatoes for eating and freezing. I love tomatoes! Seems the plants get higher every years so decided to try this and I have four kinds going!
