What's a great perennial to plant this summer?

I love perennials of course because they come back but I also like something like the Hellebores I found that will multiply quickly and let me start the plant all over my lawn in short time. Can you name something else that does that? Thanks!

I also have a deer problem. I foud that they do not like Daffodils too much so I planted them in between my Hostas, which they love to munch on. I also panted Daffodils with my Tulips as the deer think that the tulips are lollipops.
