My parent's recently moved to a farm and are interested in maintaining as wholesome and natural an environment as possible. While I've already found vinegar, baking soda, and lemons to be useful, I'm hoping someone might have more suggestions.

Thank you. I have a bathroom sink drain that develops an odor. I will try hydrogen peroxide next. Today I use bleach but don't like to a lot because it is corrosive.
Peroxide is good at attacking the icky build-up. I hope it works well for you:)
Catherine, I hadn't thought of using peroxide, what a great alternative. I'm also very sensitive to the smell of vinegar (one of the reasons I have yet to try the no-poo hair washing method). I'm excited to try this out for myself and for my parents.
