Your question itself is suggestive. Wal-Mart isn't just some store anymore, is it? I guess it hasn't merely been a store for quite some time now. Its an experience. All do to the power of branding, as Naomi Klein would say.
Your question is interesting on another level. I understand its tongue-in-cheek, still great truths come from humor. One wants to have a 'successful' trip to Wal-Mart. We don't talk that way about other venues, do we? Do we want to make a successful trip to the park? Or a successful trip to Shop Rite or Shop N Stop? Or to the barber shop?
I could be wrong, of course, but its almost as if one wants to make a good impression on the personnel at Wal-Mart. When you say 'to get in and out as quickly as possible?' Does one want to impress them with his or her efficiency? I know you're not asking this question for yourself, ryancarter. You're just having fun. I guess I'm just saying its amazing how Wal-Mart has penetrated our collective psyche.
