Find the Perfect Bedroom Desk Here

Updated on December 28, 2012

Write, Read, do Homework or Make up at a Bedroom Desk

Last week I went on a few wild shopping days looking for a great deal on a good bedroom desk. I gave mine away to my granddaughter and wanted to replace it. I found a few really good ones and in the end I got another one for my grandson as well. Maybe it's a year too early but there were some deals I couldn't pass on.

Both desks have been delivered and they are in excellent condition and will serve very well. I will talk more about the specific desks later. For this page I made a list of the best value deals I could find. They are quality desks that will last and are great to work at but at reasonable to good prices and then I added a few gems that are simply so beautifully made with such great materials I had to include them. Online these are still affordable while otherwise they cost a fortune. I hope you enjoy my selection and find a great desk for yourself to work at or your kids.

Great desk for a 8-12 year old. Especially a young girl will love this desk. The cabinet is large enough to hold a desktop computer but it's also possible to work on a laptop on this desk and to do regular homework ofcourse. Effective, very pretty looking and it comes at a great price. This desk looks a lot like the one I gave to my granddaughter that I have worked at for many years myself. Perhaps it was slightly larger I'm not sure.

This is a very affordable and simple computer desk with sliding tray. It's available in four different colors and suitable for either a boy or a girl. The bedroom desk is made out of CARB compliant composite wood with the Forest Stewardship Council certification being present. It's laminated with a pure black finish though the back isn't treated. So you will want to put this desk against a wall. Measures 42 inches wide by 20 inches deep by 36.75 inches high; 5-year warranty

At Stacks and Stacks they have these simple black and maple desks that have a modern look to them. They make for great workspace for your kids bedroom or for yourself. They are strong desks with a roll out feature to hold the keyboard, saving some walking space. A desktop computer can easily be stored inside the compartments. The desks are now available with free shipping which I always like a lot on furniture deals. I got the maple one for my grandson who is very happy with it and puts his netbook there. Even though he doesn't have to do a lot of studying on it yet. Lucky brat.

These are less suitable for kids and more suitable for older people who want a small reading or writing desk in their bedroom. It can double as a vanity too. I use it as a writing desk and sometimes use it to study a little. Casual reading I like to do in a more comfortable chair to be honest. Both of these desks are absolutely gorgeous and functional desks in my opinion. After much deliberation I have chosen the left one and it is serving me well so far.
