I loved that the tub was stainless steel--I'd prefer not to have the taste of rust with my ice cream, thankyouverymuch. I don't have to worry about that with this model.

      My grandparents had a vintage hand crank ice cream maker. All the kids would spend hours making ice cream when we visited them in the mountains. We always made vanilla, then my grandmother chopped up lots of fresh fruit to put on top. Great memories!
