When it comes to outdoor propane heaters for your patio there are basically two different styles.

One style looks similar to an old fashion street lamp while the other has a pyramid shape. There will be subtle differences between different models of each type but for the most part they will look similar.

Both the street lamp style and the pyramid shaped style have a base that typically contain the propane tank and with the pyramid style lamps it contains the controls.

The main differences between any of the outdoor propane heaters is the Btu output and the range of their heating capacity.

My Opinion

Why We Love Our Outdoor Propane Heater

We have the Garden Sun GS4400SS 41,000 BTU propane (LP) patio heater and I can not say it enough, "We Love This Thing!"

We really love how it has the appearance of an old time street lamp. If you live in an area that has cool nights or even days but like to spend time out on your patio then an outdoor heater is a must.

These things really do the trick, at least the one we have does. We have a covered patio which really helps to keep the heat in but I can image they still do a great job even on an open patio or deck.

Having this heater has allowed me and my family to spend much more time outside on the patio.

We are outdoor people by nature and like to be outside as much as possible. Often times I will catch my girlfriend or one of her daughters sitting out on the patio reading or playing around on their laptop. It has also allowed us to barbecue more often which we all love.

If you are the type of person who likes to be outside as much as possible, even during the cold months, then one of these wonderful heaters is something you have to have.

Believe me, you and your family will love it.

When it comes to choosing your new outdoor propane heater take a good look at Garden Sun which in my opinion makes some of the best patio heaters made today and you don't have to worry about how they look because they are very stylish and attractive.

We purchased a patio heater last year and we love it. Of course it makes the deck a lot warmer but we also noticed in the fall that it keeps the dew of the deck if you are out there late out night.
