Bradford Exchange Wolf Plates

Updated on May 27, 2014

Collectible Plates

Although The Bradford Exchange has many items for you to choose from, I've chosen to specifically focus on their wolf plates.

I don't have a complete collection of any of the series they offer because I seem to run out of money after paying for the first one or two.

I have one from the "Moon Shadows" collection, one from the "Nature's Tenderness" collection, one from the "Cliff Dwellers" collection, and one from the "Nature's Harmony" collection.

They're also available in different shapes. In my collection, I have one round one (Moon Shadows), one oval one (Nature's Tenderness), and two rectangular ones (Cliff Dwellers and Nature's Harmony). At some point, I would really like to complete these collections, but as the years go by, they get harder and harder to find. The price also goes up for most of them.

Why These?

So, why did I choose the ones I have over the others? Since I've had most of them for more than 15 years, I'm not really sure why I chose the collections I did. Knowing myself, I would guess that I thought the first ones in the collections were beautiful, and I thought it would be an easy way to start collecting them.

If you browse the internet now, you will find that most of these items do increase in value. Some more than others. Some collectors are willing to pay high prices to increase their collections. As some animals and artists get harder to find, the prices are still going to go up and up.

My biggest regret right now, is that I was never able to finish any of the series at the time I started them, and I may never be able to now.

As much as I was hoping to find something from my own collection, I wasn't able to. Here's some other wonderful choices though.

I sure can related to the money issue affecting collections. I had horse and beaded bag collections that I sold years ago so that my children could eat. Those Bradford Exchange plates are out there somewhere and maybe one at a time you'll make your goal. I love wolves too and can sure see the attraction.
