Bring The Outdoors in With Flower Arrangements

Flower Arrangements for the Table
Bring The Outdoors in With Flower Arrangements. I look forward to summer every year because I know I will have a beautiful flower arrangements somewhere in my home. They have special meaning for me they make a house a home and add life to my rooms. Every since I can remember I always enjoyed a nice vase full in my room. My father was an avid gardener and every summer out home was filled with the bouquets he grew for my mother. There were always large bouquets on our dining room table.
Since that time I have carried on the tradition of having beautiful flowers on my table. Especially during the summer months when they are so abundant. The kind is not important to me since I enjoy all types and varieties of flowers. A simple flower vase filled with yellow daffodils is usually the first arrangement I have every spring. This is followed by yellow forsythia which is a flowering shrub that blossoms early in the spring here in Michigan.
After the daffodils and forsythias have dropped their blossoms, the fragrant lilac begin their predictable show. The one that I have are the old-fashioned type. They are very fragrant and a beautiful purple color. I always think of summer when the lilac are in bloom. The smell fills the air in my house and the outdoors are just as fragrant.
